Faral is well known around Drakeford. He is a popular performer who sings and plays his harp both in the taverns and inns and in the homes of the wealthy, including the baron himself. Faral is a half elf who’s mother sits on the city council. He feels the need to seek danger and excitement to fuel his songs however, and has befriended the knight Irann for this purpose.
When his brother, Logan Hartwold, was kidnapped by human slavers and then killed by the duergar they tried to sell him too, Faral went into mourning. Except for time with immediate family, he locks himself in his rooms at his mother’s and immerses himself in reading. He is working his way through the extensive collection of books loaned to him by Piter Wouter.
