The town was destroyed again by the undead forces of the dracolich Longtooth, who came unexpectedly out of a long slumber in Shadowhold to lay waste to the town. The survivors of the raid, along with their leader General Gordik, now reside as refugees in the nearby town of Drakeford.
This smaller “”/campaign/white-river/wikis/humans/new" class=“create-wiki-page-link”> Human" town was, in fact, mostly populated by Half Orcs. The few remaining full-humans were generally treated with distrust as second-class citizens. Individual humans who proved themselves trustworthy, capable, and loyal to the ruling council of aristocrats could, however, potentially rise to high stations (as can members of the other civilized races). The folk of Redhill maintained trade relations with the elves and half elves, as well as with some of the more restrained Orc tribes. They tended to view themselves as a separate and distinct population, however, and were very well aware that they are looked down upon by virtually everyone else in the valley.
